I trained in the United States for 4 years, before returning to Singapore in 1999. I have participated in competitions in the US, Singapore and internationally. In 2006 and 2007, I was the Singapore National Champion in the Adult Gold category. In 2009, I placed 2nd in the Gold Ladies I category at the ISU International Adult Competition in Oberstdorf.

I began coaching in 2000, and have taught skaters of all levels and ages. While I have been coaching mostly in Singapore, I had the opportunity to spend a year in the US in 2011 where I coached at two rinks in New Jersey. I am familiar with the test and competition systems of the Ice Skating Institute, US Figure Skating and Singapore Ice Skating Association. As a coach, I expect focus, commitment and determination from my skaters.

Now, as a mother, my daughter has also developed an interest in skating (even if my son hasn't). As she progresses, it is amazing to see what she can achieve!
